And Then There Were None

1939. Europe teeters on the brink of war. Ten strangers are invited to Soldier Island, an isolated rock near the Devon coast. Cut off from the mainland, with their generous hosts Mr and Mrs U.N. Owen mysteriously absent, they are each accused of a terrible crime. When one of the party dies suddenly they realise they may be harbouring a murderer among their number. With an all star cast, this latest BBC Agatha Christie adaptation aired over Christmas to rave reviews.

This was a full on, but very rewarding, project for Munky to work on. Tasked with building the exterior of the house on Soldier Island, our artists worked tirelessly to create the perfect setting. Work was also completed on all external landscape shots, as well as wides of the island. Creating tension and atmosphere was very important for this show, and the weather played a huge part in that. We created many of exterior weather shots, building the stormy seascapes which helped to create the overall tone of the show.
