Adapted from Joe Penhall’s critically acclaimed 2012 Royal Court play, this one off Sky Arts drama sees Stephen Mangan preparing for the birth of his second child. The twist is that this time he’s the one in the hospital bed! Delightfully funny and brutally honest, the Roger Michelle directed adaptation sees a heavily pregnant Stephen Mangan pant, curse and bicker his way through labour, while his wife, Anna Maxwell Martin, looks helplessly on.

Munky came on board to help ensure continuity with the baby bump, as well as add texture and interest to the outside world. Adding flourishes, such as glimpses of birds out of the window, added depth and authenticity to the shots. We also helped to make sure that the many hospital machines were doing what they should be- again adding authenticity and ensuring the small set felt as realistic as possible.
