Harry Hill Movie – Title Sequence

Director Steve Bendelack and Harry wanted something for the front of the film that would instantly put the audience into ‘Harry’s World’.

They’d filmed the opening sequence in the faux-Tudor utopian suburbia of Ham, near Kingston in Surrey. “What if” Steve asks, “…we colour in all the houses?… can you do that?”

The titles were designed by Gary Brown and inspired by the underlying 1969 synthpop instrumental ‘Popcorn’ composed by Gershon Kingsley.

Feedback from Harry…

“I like it! It Like it! I like it!”
