Set in post-WW2 London, this Cold War caper stars David Walliams and Jessica Raine as Tommy and Tuppence, an ordinary husband and wife turned detectives. Based on the works of Agatha Christie, the six part series follows the couple’s involvement in murder cases, Cold War conspiracy and the world of undercover agents.

Munky worked on a couple of episodes in the series, with most of our work happening in Episode 1. We were on hand to create a convincing Parisian backdrop for the opening scenes, as well as taking modern London back to the 1950’s. We recreated a wide of the London skyline, removing anything modern and adding in authentic details. We also worked on the streets of London- adding details of residual Blitz damage and taking Soho back to it’s 50’s heyday. There was also beauty work needed – with poor David Walliams suffering from a nasty eye infection during filming, Munky were on hand to clean up his eye and help him look as good as new!
