Sky Living’s exciting new drama, The Enfield Haunting, is adapted from Guy Lyon Playfair’s book This House is Haunted, and recounts one of the most famous and well documented poltergeist hauntings in British history. Boasting an all star cast including Timothy Spall, Juliet Stevenson and Matthew Macfayden, the three part drama tells the story of rookie paranormal investigator, Maurice Grosse, and how he finds himself drawn into the paranormal events of the house on Green Street. Plagued by his own family tragedy and partnered with experienced investigator Guy Lyon Playfair, both men begin to realise that they may have to confront a few personal ghosts before being able to help the terrorised family.
Munky have been an enthusiastic player in this production from early on, with both Gary Brown and Venancio David being on hand on set to advise on some of the more difficult VFX shots. Our artists were on hand to amp up the the suspense and scares wherever necessary and produced some really amazing work. We completed shots over all three episodes which ranged from high flying stunts to adding fine details for authenticity. It was a real pleasure to work on this series, and bring Joshua St Johnston wonderful scripts to life. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do…just be sure to have a pillow on hand to hide behind!
